About a year ago, I found myself knee-deep in life’s challenges. Overwhelmed doesn’t even begin to describe the weight I carried, and I felt lost, unsure of how to move forward.
- To know Him: I craved a deeper connection with God.
- To know myself: I longed for self-awareness and understanding.
The first step
Taking a leap of faith, I left my job and enrolled in Charis Bible College—a transformative journey. Through this experience, I’ve learned that I am the hands and feet of Jesus.
My father’s loving reminder echoed in my heart: I must not merely hear the Word but actively live it out (James 1:22-26).
Why mission trip
This year, my theme is “as they went,” inspired by the story of the ten lepers who sought healing from Jesus. He instructed them to go and show themselves to the priest, and as they obeyed, their healing manifested (Luke 17:11-19).
God’s Word instructs me in Matthew 10:8: “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.”
Additionally, Matthew 28:16-20 reminds us of our mission: to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey Christ’s commands.
As I embark on my second year at college, I will be going on a mission trip.
How you can partner with me
l’m honored to embrace the call to live out the teachings of these scriptures.With excitement and gratitude, I plan to embark on a two-week journey overseas to share the gospel and bring to life the powerful words. My heart is set on revealing Christ and helping others discover their identity in Him, a path graciously shown to me by my Father.
It’s my belief that we are all summoned to engage in our “Father’s business,” and this mission is my commitment to that divine work.
The logistics of this mission, including flights, accommodations, and other expenses, necessitate financial support. As I prepare for my second academic year starting in September, I have payment deadline for 75% of my mission fees, amounting to £2,300. I invite you to partner with me in this endeavor by contributing towards this in whatever way you are lead.
